Okay, so what's been happening in Navel Land lately?

We gathered for a set-list run-through on Sunday, with a mini-audience consisting of Mats H. and my colleague Jens. We sound okay for the most part, but your humble drummer made a few terrible mistakes, things that I've played many, many times were suddenly unplayable!!! Just one of those days, I guess...

Today "Rana Blad" finally printed the long-awaited story on everybody's favourite navel flushers. The article was terribly short, but it did mention two important things, the concert on the 29^th and the URL for Navel Net. The photo, however... Boy, it takes up more than half the space of the article, and shows a rather serious band - except for the drummer, who's sticking his tounge out!!!! Arrghh, why'd they use that one???

Then there's the David vs. Goliath thing: I found out today that White, Hot & Blue, the most popular band around here, is playing at the pub on the floor below Loftet - at the same time as Navel Flush!!!! That's a bummer, having to compete with them. Don't get me wrong, I love White, Hot & Blue, I've been to several of their concerts, and think they're really cool. This is just a case of bad timing, that's all.

Well, maybe it's not that bad. Their audience is mainly from 30 year-olds and up, while ours is a younger audience. Let's just hope that enough people are willing to climb the extra flight of stairs. :)

Finally, congratulations and three cheers for John, who got his driver's licence today! :)
