The posters are up on various wall around town now, and the band is in good shape for the concert. We're trying to figure out how to get enough microphones for the gig, but otherwise we're pretty much on the 'home stretch'. At rehearsal last night we recorded some stuff on John's old cassette recorder. I know I'm biased, but I just have to say that we sound really tight! :) Just a little bit of tweaking of the set-list, and we're ready to fly! We're also planning on some cool show elements for the concert, which we might try out on Sunday. We'll keep that a secret for now. :)

Duh, I forgot to disclose the Big Secret Surprise in my last update. It was my brand new china-type cymbal, which had the rest of the band turning their heads towards the drumkit more than once last Sunday at rehearsal. Okay, enough self-indulgent drum-talk for now!
